I think SE have a much better record and it's most likely Platinum Games who were wishing SE made games for them.

first of all, let me educate you-

Bayonetta was designed by Hideki Kamiya... this guy is the creator of the original Devil May Cry, Viewtiful Joe and Okami and directed Reisdent Evil 2. he has one of the most impressive portfolios in the game industry and has made some of the most well regarded action games of all time.

before platinum games was platinum games, they were known as clover, and produced godhand... the greatest ps2 action game of all time. the crew was also responsible for making the resident evil remake on the game cube (as well as the original game on ps1) and they made resident evil 4, which is regarded as the game that saved resident evil from obscurity.

they also made Vanquish... the most incredible 3rd person shooter ever made.

i dont think SE has a decent track record lately that can compare. maybe their western division from edios... but NOT SE of japan. as far as im concerned, SE hasnt made a legitimate good game since the ps1 days... specifically since they merged to become SE.

oh, and kingdom hearts is a very mediocre action game. it is as mindless as dynasty warriors and lacks a decent challenge compounded with the most lazy level designs i have ever seen in an action game or rpg for that matter. (hallways, corridors and large empty rooms mostly.)

Yet Type-0 is the single greatest technical achievement of all time in the gaming industry.

And a lot of us won't have played it.

is good but veeeeery forgettable and it handles themes very poorly, the story is about war and politics like FFT or LOGH but told in a very childish way.
