Undefined Roles for FFX? What the heck? The roles are very much defined.
Yuna- White Mage/ Some Green Mage Kimahri- Blue Mage/Dragoon Rikku- Thief/Alchemist Lulu- Black Mage Tidus- Warrior/ Time Mage Wakka- "Archer"/ Some Red Mage Auron- Samurai
Those roles can be disputed, but their roles still focused on one or two jobs.
If you're talking about opening up the Sphere Grid early on with Key Spheres, this is almost always a bad idea, but does not make the game unplayable.
Well, that is true, but I was thinking about the expert grid as I type that out. My bad. The standard version does fit into the pre-determined classes option along with FFIV, VI and IX, but international version really doesn't.
FFVI pre-determined? I mean, yes it is in a way, but you can still turn every character into what you want unlike FFIV and FFIX.
Agree, i wouldn't call FFVI exactly pre-derminated considering that you can havily change both stats and skills for any character, even if it's true that any character has a "special command" that is unique and can't be changed, but still it's not comparable to what happens for example in FFIX..... --- "Remember, you can make anything as idiot-proof as you want, they'll just build a better idiot...."
