Would you buy a FFXIII: international version if...

SE tweaked the gameplay by making it like FFXIII-2's where we could change the party leader during battle and if they made the paradigm shift be instant like in XIII-2 instead of the dumb animation they make >_<. Also, if they changed the whole party leader = game over to the way XIII-2 implemented it XIII would be a much better game. I would actually consider buying an international edition but it would have to implement all the things I have listed plus some extra content (eg. Some areas would have to be expanded like Nautilus to include games and quests) as well as include more optional super bosses.

So what do you think? Would you consider buying FFXIII internatiol edition with the improvements I've listed?

No,for FFXIII i prefer the "leader's death= game over" rule and even the fixed leader.

.....but extra content may convince me to buy it.........

I really think FFXIII could be a brilliant game with just a few tweaks here and there. I've already mentioned the gameplay tweaks that would improve the game as well as expanding on some of the areas (for exploration, games and quests), but there's much more that could have been done. One idea I had was that on Pulse once you've completed a specific group of Cieth Stone missions you'd be rewarded by Fighting an optional Eidolon which could then be usable by one of the party members (eidolons would be pre-detemined for the sake of gestalt mode though). Another improvement would be giving us an airship (since Sazh is a frigging pilot) and let us revisit previous locations (though the area would be less linear.

I like that Eidolon idea. A lot.

Eidolon traveling should have been implemented from the start. Especially since 4/6 of them were vehicles.

Odin/Shiva could have been used for traversing Pulse/other non-city locations, Brynhildr for driving through towns and Bahamut for traveling back to previous areas.

10/10 idea though summoning them outside of battle would probably drain TP :(

That's probably where Chocobos would be better in the long run.

I didn't really like the TP concept quite honestly. I would have preferred if you were given a Gestalt Bar to fill during battles, that allowed you to Summon once filled. To not make it overpowered they could make it a 'once per battle', or just let it fill extremely slow.

Eidolon travelling would have REALLY be great..........and even acquiring extra Eidolons would have been great too.

Each character should have had a a second Eidolon, and Lightning should have had three so that after acquiring all the 12 Eidolons, you can fight and "submit" the 13th and final Eidolon.
Thinking about it maybe the 13th one could have been available for all the characters.........

.....oh well, it will never happenn anyway, lol.

(....but even if it's almost impossible i still hope that eidolon travelling would be implemented in LR since it would be very useful for an open world).
