Not literally, I was even playing earlier today, but it feels like I have to strike gold just to be able to join a lobby. I've been trying for the past twenty minutes and every lobby I try to join either says "failed to join lobby" (very descriptive) or it just gets stuck on the "waiting for game to respond" message forever.
Is this normal? I've restarted Steam and my comp a dozen times, and I'm very occasionally able to join a server, I just don't know what the damn secret is. --- Mega Man Unlimited - Playthrough, Review and Criticism http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxNyTfF87xMRmb6jqKKTAmOrElKZkv3om
I'm sure it has a lot to do with they decided to forgo dedicated servers in favor of peer-to-peer hosting, which everyone knows isn't the most reliable of things. --- "I just wasted a bullet. Don't waste your life." -Big Boss
I actually know the TC, and he got it working later on. I forgot to ask how, but based on the troubleshooting from earlier, it may have started working again after he did "verify integrity of cache". So, something to try for other people having the problem, I guess. --- Is this finally a conundrum that CAN'T be solved by helicopter theft?
Wasn't the cache. I had to go into my router settings and turn on DMZ and adjust my firewall. It was annoying. --- Mega Man Unlimited - Playthrough, Review and Criticism http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxNyTfF87xMRmb6jqKKTAmOrElKZkv3om
Restarting the game didn't do jack for me, nor did restarting Steam, but I read online that restarting your router can do a temporary fix for some--though I don't know how long that lasts myself. --- Mega Man Unlimited - Playthrough, Review and Criticism http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxNyTfF87xMRmb6jqKKTAmOrElKZkv3om
