I definitely want both versions (unless 3DS version's offline only isnt worth it/I can play with out circle pad pro) So I'd love this bundle aswell.

It can, the touchscreen can have a layout where it acts like the second circle pad AKA camera control.

Also, both versions are said to have ALL content available offline, online is strictly just to join up with other folks for easier hunts (or harder depending on who you know).

I think they just announced that they won't be doing a bundle at all to get both copies, but where did I read that...

I think it was Joystiq?

The JP MH Wii U bundle is around $402. I bet Play-Asia will make it around $500+

I'm pretty sure the 3DS version dosn't have online seeing as it would be an easy translation job of the Japanese game, your game saves are universal between the two systems though.

A bundle would be nice.

EDIT: Yeah no online for 3DS (which TBH it doesn't need it) http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-09-25-how-monster-hunter-3-ultimate-wii-u-and-3ds-work-together
