Good. I refuse to pay for online services like XBLA, I'm already paying for my internet once, I won't pay for it twice.
The hissy fits about Bayonetta 2 being Wii U exclusive is a sad testament to how entitled, rude, and childish gamers today can be. It makes all gamers look bad.

Although I never once expected Capcom to charge us for it, it's still nice to have confirmed.

This is a very big game in Japan, so yes people paid for Tri. And this new is only for Japanese players I believe, western players have never been charged before.

Nintendo's probably paying for the server costs.
Actually, since Wedge Antilles > Carriers, and Carriers = Instant win, then it should be Wedge Antilles > Instant win. He's just that good XD -PsionicDude

In Japan they did.

The catch was there could be more than 4 people in a lobby.

Well, i guess this will make the game an even bigger system seller in Japan, but i always expected online to be free again in the west.
