I don't think so, they never do that in the past but all hope are not lost yet, we should wait and see after MH3GHD came out in Jap, if they do release non quest dlc in Jap, we will probably get it as well.

Well they released different titles for your guild card as free DLC if that counts. I'm also pretty sure they gave out free 5000 village points.

They only need to charge Japan to play online.

To OP, I hope and believe that MH will not be getting DLC with this game. Reason: No point, no need to do even MORE work on an old game.
