The difficulty has me turned off on this game...

Dont worry TC the game is not hard at all, you will roflstomp everything in Low and High Rank, it isnt till you hit G-Rank that you will die in 2-3 hits, but since most of you will play this online and not solo the whole game like a man you wont have any problems as long as everybody wears a mixed set of Evade+2, Awaken and Bomber using Kelbi Bow

annnnd you dont need to do that so i dunno what you're talking about.

If you don't do that and aciddentally trigger a trap or something, you die.

That's not fun in any way.

I'm not interested in death, why is gaming culture so death-obsessed.

what? and if you screw up in Monster hunter you wont die? whats the fun in playing a game with no consequence for being bad? you make it sound like theres an enemy waiting behind every corner in the game, which if you actually played the game, you'd know thats not the case.

"OMG I DIED BECAUSE I SUCK AT THIS GAME ITS NOT FAIR!" wah wah wah

TC, this series is similar to DkS in the sense that you have to learn the movement and patterns of your enemies. So if you still had major problems with DkS after several attempts at a boss, then you are likely to have them same problems here too.

Don't just rush in when you face something for the first time, observe it, see what kind of attacks it puts out. Take your time to begin with.

If you die in Monster Hunter, it's clearly the players fault. You don't have to be alert 24/7 just because the devs made some death traps.

I played Dark Souls till the second bell and just couldn't take it anymore, it's way too cheap and I wasn't having fun at all.
And obviosly I was over extratcing the every corner comment...still doesn't mean you can merrily go forward even simple looking corridor in DS.

so you played less then half the game? no, you cannot run and gun in darksouls.. the game is not cheep at all. if you die in dark souls I'm sorry but you're playing it wrong.

no, you cannot run in with your weapon blazing in monster hunter. if you play it too safe you'll time out. if you play to reckless you'll cart.

if you die in dark souls, its clearly your fault. It's quite easy to get through the game without dying(excluding the on death to Seath for story purposes) if you're not an idiot. and you dont have to be alert in your big monster fights? Wow, i keep hearing people say that monster hunter is a "hardcore" series but if during fights if you can just be like "herpaderpa derp derp" and a noob like yourself prevails... casuallllllllllll

(please bear in mind im not saying MH is bad, im just making some comparisons and points, so try not to be too butthurt)
