wiiu to play online with friends, 3ds to transfer my save when I want to farm random crap on the go.

One thing to support the series in the US, but also so I can have MH on the go if I'm going to be away from home for an extended period of time.

Having both version so I can do some local with friends that aren't ready to purchase a WiiU yet. And those times that you just want to stay in bed and farm away lol.

I'm not, mainly because I don't take my 3DS anywhere with me. The battery life is too ass.

So I might as well just get the better version.

I'm about 75% sure I'm going to get both. I don't always have access to play my wiiU (its on the big TV in the main room which has to be "shared" i'm told) so I could still play on the 3DS plus take it anywhere.

Also, I think for the grinding/gather/crafting it would be useful to take it with me to work where I can't put in 1-2 hrs gaming stints that are needed for big monster hunts. If the game were not transferable between the two I would not even consider buying both versions though.

I am for the following reasons:
1. Support the series
2. Play online and on the go.
3. Play with my friends at college.
4. To my 3DS and WiiU libraries.
5. Because I can.

I was just going to but the U version and a U but as I'm in the UK and they've announced the special editions I'm going to get both.

Transferable save files make it awesome enough to warrant getting both.
