have a gunner knock you up

Wait what?

It's a special Giggi Bowgun. Fires eggs, directly into your target.
Where did you think all that creepy fanfiction came from?

Hahaha, oh no.

Stop the presses.

If you're carrying a torch, you can neither discard or give items.

Proceed.

Huh, that is strange. And thats crazy about Mario Galaxy too lol. Has anyone else seen the Shakalaka head on the Felynes back? Looks like an asparagus, same with their heads minus the mask.

Hold a torch will keep baggis, jaggis, giggis, and undamaged felynes from attacking you. They will also freeze kelbis in place (deer in headlights) but will attract bnahabras. Hitting a baggi, jaggi or giggi twice with a torch will make them run from the area. This is most useful with a SnS where you can still hold a torch and attack.

Streams and shallow pools aren't just for decoration, when on fire rolling in one will put you out.

Holding back when using a Switch Axe discharge will skip the weak multi-hit charge and skip right to the explosion.

The Greatsword kick does as much damage as a normal kick but can be immediately combo'd into the Greatsword slap, making it easy to stun monsters or break parts weak to only blunt damage.

The Switchaxe thingy is not as beneficial as youŽll think, since some Swaxes like the Sand Barioth one have Paralysis coatings and high RAW , so you could just use the discharge move but without discharging, thus hitting multiple times. paralyzing the monster and getting free hits for everyone, and the explosion is not as powerful as it seems, its better to get 5 hits in sword mode than a discharge on the monster

-When you are below 40% health you receive a small boost in defense.

-Giggi's that you leave latched on will grow in size and be able to spit poison.

-If you look carefully you can see a frog in the back of Gobul's mouth.

-Crouching increases carving/gathering speed.

-The Shadowbox gesture is actually an attack.

-The size of the monster you killed isn't just a made up number outside of events, the monster is actually slightly bigger/smaller during the hunt.

-If a monster isn't aggro'd yet, crouching will actually make them less likely to see you (only useful really if you want to see idle animation)

Apparently if a Melynx steals your item and runs away, you'll be able to get it back at the cat statues placed on certain areas of the map.

Getting into more unexplained tips than secrets now

-Adamant Pills prevent you from being tripped (not knocked down, small attacks like being bumped by a moving monsters legs or hit by a friendly Longsword)

-You can "Sprint" when climbing up vines (it seems obvious but a lot of people don't know this)

-You can Monsters Death Sequence and return your camera to normal by pressing "+"

-When combining, buying, selling you can hold down the button to rapidly perform the action

-Along with quest items, Rathian eggs can be traded to the Veggie Elder for Dash Juice.
