When I booted up the demo for the first time, the first thing I noticed was how much delay there was between my inputs and actually seeing them on screen. I was pretty disappointed in how Capcom somehow managed to get Monster Hunter to run worse on a superior platform compared to previous titles. To the people with the japanese version of the game, has this issue been addressed in the retail release?

There's no such lag in my demo.

No such lag here. And I play with an HDMI pass-through.

There is. I assure you. I went to check it earlier today ( http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/683294-monster-hunter-3-ultimate/65632210 ).

It's specially noticeable in the menus. It isn't anything too big (as I said in the other topic, around 100ms), but it's certainly there.

Also, if you have a 3DS, compare the two demos. You'll see the difference in the menus very easily.

Edit: To answer the TC. No it hasn't, if the poster on the topic I posted is to be believed.

I have both versions and don't notice any lag at all in the Wii u version. It may be there, but it has had zero effect on my gameplay. I haven't messed with menus too much. Actually fighting the monsters I have similar clear times. I have seen many people claim they have input lag though...but at the same time I have heard many say there is none, and still others say it is the television you play on.

Go check it now. It doesn't make much of a difference, that's for sure. But just mess on the menu on both versions, and come report your findings.

And I assure you, I experience none. I just booted up the demo and I experience 0 delay in character reaction or in menus.

Thanks though, for telling us all what our experience actually is.

Fixed.

I assure you, because I don't have a broken copy of the game for sure. I don't have input lag on my TV on any other game I play. I thoroughly compared the 3DS version with the Wii U version to be absolutely sure. And the lag IS there.

Edit@Cross: Do you have the 3DS version? If so please check it. Again, it's really noticeable on the menus. Click the dpad quickly and you'll see the selection doesn't change straight away.

I assure you, this is a goofy topic. It's not noticeable, and even if there IS lag, you'll deal with it and still play the game.
