Should I pick up MH3U if I already own MH3 on Wii?

I didn't play much of MH3 for some reason, maybe because it was on the Wii. Any reason to upgrade? Should I continue my game in MH3? People still online on the Wii game? Does online work in MH3 on the Wii U?

Can't answer the other ones, but as for the bold one, the servers shut down at the end of April for the Wii version.

*Edit: Ok, I fibbed. What it added was a bunch of new monsters and variations, semi-different multiplayer area, and weapon types that had been in other incarnations of the game.

Monsters in MH3: 18
Monsters in MH3U: 51

That should be all the info you need.

Aw dammit. What a waste of money. I barely played the game. I regret it now. Trade in value is terrible too.

Offline Tri will still give you about 70 hours of play. But 3U is so much more worth it.
