Is there a difference between playing as a girl or boy?

Girls get battle dresses, or underwear, or the occasional good armor.

Guys look like gundams, or male strippers.

Take your pick.

Oh, you thought they made this game for you? You clearly bought the wrong game.

I guess admittedly, the majority of Male armors either looks clunky as hell, or extremely homoerotic.

(Because really, why do male NPCs all wear crotchless pants?)

Helios X and Z look better on male characters, and they're the best looking armour sets in the game.

Currently playing: not much

Guys grunt and make manly noises, while the girls almost scream in an annoying high-pitched voice for almost everything they do in the game. Other than that the armors look different, some cool some not.

To make up for all the skimpy female armors, I suppose. It is pretty funny to see it, especially considering the women of Moga wear long dresses or loose pants.
