Things you should do when playing online

Throw as many smoke bombs as you can carry, then start throwing flash bombs. Aim so it doesn't affect the monster.

Wear a mixed set of armor with no skills except negative ones. Preferably health down.

If another player is stunned or you otherwise have an opportunity, plant a felvine bomb on them.

Be sure to gather shiny drops while the monster is still standing on top of them.

Every time you get hit once, run back to camp and sleep in the bed.

In response to anyone saying anything, reply in a ridiculous fake accent something like: "I'a no'a speak'a tha English!"

On a capture quest, once the monster limps use a farcaster then plant a trap in the base camp.

Use a whetstone after each hit, then when you use all 20 beg your teammates for spare whetstones since you ran out. To draw it out further bring a stack of whetfish as well.

Go fishing in the same area as the boss.

Keep running to the opposite end of the area as your teammates then use a field horn.

Bring the wrong kind of hot/cold drink, use it, then complain about losing health/stamina and not knowing why.

Do nothing to attack the monster except throwing as many stones as you can carry.

After killing the monster, plant small barrel bombs on the corpse to interrupt carves.

Go grab wyvern eggs or stuff when it's not what the quest is for and take it to the veggie elder over and over again.

Eat toadstools to poison yourself and complain about not knowing how you were poisoned.

Here's one.

At the beginning of a quest (Lowrank or if someone has Felyne Supplier in highrank/G-rank), proceed to steal all of the supplies from the supply box and consume them one after another.

Buy a type of weapon you have no experience with, take it into a G Rank fight, and when you die, complain about how unfair or hard the weapon is to use against that monster.

Make sure to take all 4 maps (you need to throw one out before you take the next one. Torches too.

A few more things to consider:

*Cooking steaks in the same area as a raging monster makes them recover more stamina. For best results don't wear armor. They will also cook faster if you grill in the path of agnaktor's laser beam.

*Any good hunting group needs a pellet gunner. Hitting your teammates with pellet shot means they won't get hit by the monster since the game only registers one hit at a time.

Happy Hunting!

...it's finally happened. Someone has said something that makes so little sense, I can't form a coherent response.

You meant EITHER:

They didn't prepare to make potions on the quest, which is normal, because who would ever make potions on a quest?

OR

They didn't prepare to make potions before the quest, which has absolutely zero bearing on the quest itself, because you can BUY THEM.

So which is it? I've lightened up on my Grammar Policing these last few years, and this is the state we now find ourselves in. People just type anything, anything at all, and it doesn't even have to make sense. It could mean anything, or nothing.
