I've killed about 35 zinogre at this point with out getting a single jasper, and I can feel my sanity slowly ebbing away. I'd like to know if I'm better off doing the multi-monster quests to get them, or if I should just continue fighting solo zinogres. --- Okami is the most incredible game that you've probably never played.

Quests that have you hunt multiple of the same monster are always better. More Breaks, more carves, and more stuff in the rewards screen. --- NNid: Windsage
Quest Rewards: Village 9* Howl at the Moon (Row A): 1% 9* Lurkers in the Woods (Row A): 3% 9* Lurkers in the Woods (Row B): 3%
Tanzia Port 4* Unwanted Visitor (Row A): 1% 7* Hunting the Hunter (Row A): 3% 7* [Advanced] Cloudless Thunder (Row A): 3% 7* [Advanced] Cloudless Thunder (Row B): 3% 8* Fang, Fang: You're Dead (Row A): 3% --- Apparently OP for his entire argument does in fact put his fingers in his ears and go "LALALALA" the entire thread. Fascinating.

Do the "Colorful Beasts" event quest. Los rubies and Zinogre Jasper's are just part of the quest rewards. Commonly. Do it 5 times and you should have 1-3. --- Black FC: 4598 8791 3336
So Lurkers in the Woods has two 3% chances, whereas Howl at the Moon has three 3% chances from carving. I guess I'm best off fighting lone zinogre's. Thanks for the info guys. --- Okami is the most incredible game that you've probably never played.

Seriously. Colorful beasts. Did you just miss that? Or ignore it? --- Black FC: 4598 8791 3336

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I've been playing offline almost exclusively, so I have yet to reach High rank in the port. Although I could probably burn through the low rank port quests without much difficulty to unlock it. Actually, that's probably the best idea. --- Monster Hunter isn't a game. It's a lifestyle choice.
