Does playing as a male or female effect anything?

There are two guildie armor sets that are only available to female hunters, with no male equivalent.

There are no other differences whatsoever, other than name and appearance.

If you are a guy playing a female character and using voice chat, you don't have to play with 13 year olds or the majority of creepers. On the downside, the creepers that stay are extra creepy.

females get way better looking armor in the world of monster hunter. this simple fact is accepted as truth nyao.

It affects *everything* for me.
I mean, i'd rather spend 200 hrs off staring a lady's ass than man's, thank you.

Also, females get far better armor design than males.
