So been reading old posts and information on other sites. I found out that rapid fire is only good for stat/elem effects and crag shots. Normal and pierce are weaker but do more damage in that line of fire then the shot alone. But in the time it did the 3, or 4 if you got that skill, shots you could have at least shot 2 times which dose more damage.
Depends on the gun and what you want to do with it.
God's Archipelago is a perfect example - the RF's are Crag lv1 and Clust lv1. This is crazy strong - removing the Limiter comes at a huge cost. But most folks do it anyways. Because it loads Sleep lv2, Para lv2 and every level of Crag and Clust making it an explosion-tastic stat gun burst monster with the Limiter off.
Generally, people leave the Limiters on because they use LBGs for elemental gunning. The guns most likely to be Limiter removed are probably God's and Crown of Taurus.
I guess you could, but I dunno why. It's already a pretty compromised LBG and losing the RF poison would make it kinda meh. You'd need either Silencer or Recoil Down to utilize the Pierce and Pellet fully.
Just seems to me like Limiter removed Crown of Taurus would be vastly superior.
Higher raw and lower native Recoil. Taurus fires Pellet lv3 without recoil naturally, Blossomayhem does not. Clip sizes are quite similar but Taurus has better explosive shots while Blossomayhem has Poison.
The only advantage Limiter removed Blossomayhem has over Limiter removed Crown of Taurus is the OOO.
