Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Who cares. I enjoy playing it and while sometimes get annoyed that some of the game modes are not available, it is what it is and has been averaging 3000 peeps during my main times of playing.

League Play is still unplayable. 80% of the MP modes are unplayable even at peak times. Even K&C gets iffy many a times when trying to find a game.

I mean, if the Wii U is the only system you have and you want to play BO2, then I would say go for it. HOWEVER, if you have another system lying around like a PS3 or 360, I would HIGHLY recommend not buying the Wii U version. I would also not go out and buy a Wii U to get the full CoD experience because you're not going to get that experience on the Wii U.

Wii U - 2.2 million. Xbox 360 - 73.8 million. Early adopters just have to deal with slow growth till the market catches up. By the next game it'll be better, and even more if the next gens don't kill the console.

This is such a STUPID argument. The XBox 360 came out in mid 2005 and Call of Duty 2 came out like around 2-3 months later. Call of Duty 2 sold over a million units on the 360. So the install base for the platform argument really makes no sense, because CLEARLY a game like CoD 2 EASILY sold hand over fist on a pretty much brand new XBox 360.

To put this into perspective. The 360 by the end of 2005 sold roughly 1.5 million systems. Call of Duty 2 on the 360 by the end of the year sold over a million copies (and CoD2 came out around October 2005). CLEARLY the Wii U audience simply mostly do not play or care about CoD or Batman or Assassin's Creed, etc. That's why these games didn't sell well. How effen hard is this to comprehend? Why do people STILL use the "new system, give it time" excuse? It's asinine and stupid.

the economy in 2005 was much different than the one now, as well as the market for console gaming. I bought three games + Nintendo land came with it, I really don't plan to pick up anything else until colonial Marines comes out, but I would love to play AC3, I just simply do not want to spend the cash right now, not because I am not interested in the games...

This. About a week and a half after wii u released I came here into one of the threads about why not many people online and this was the answer I gave its just all wii u owners are Nintendo fans. I bet if super Mario wii u release today it would have 500,000 total within a week on the wii u. Nintendo is marketing the wii u like the wii so no suprise here,......................oh then they also had the excuse of many people that have black ops 2 got it for Xmas so after Xmas gets here we will see a big increase, wrong. Bo2 u are getting new users weekly but they aren't sticking around. Wii u just isn't that console for cod. Next thing you will see everyone saying just wait till Xmas this year lol

So you're convinced Nintendo players won't support mature games and I'm convinced the evidence shows games take a while to take off on new consoles. I even gave you stats on percent of total console owners who buy these games, and it's similar despite your insistence of a less mature user base.

And we did see an increase after Christmas. I just checked for you since I'm guessing you don't own a Wii U.

My opinion's based on stats and observed trends. Got anything to back yours up, other than an anti-Nintendo bent?
