Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Today I was playing Tranzit online when I died (didn't get revived in time) and next round I was brought back on the town map. Thing was I was pretty much screwed as all I had was my crappy starting pistol.

Is there a gun I can buy in town I don't know about? If not, can anyone suggest a strategy for this situation? The best I came up with was waiting for the bus so I could at least buy the gun on board, but it became pretty much impossible (for me anyway) with so many Zombies around!

Don't want to be such a liability to the team if this happens to me again.

You can try running to the farm by yourself where you can buy the R870 shotgun for 1500 points. You could probably go back to the depot for those weapons, too.
