Welcome too "rate that scorestreak" A daily poll brought too you by your least favourite poster QualiT.

The aim of this series is to discuss the scorestreaks in Call of Duty Black Ops 2 and how effective they are, whilst also providing your insight into how you use this scorestreak and effective combinations of scorestreaks you pair with it. Hopefully by sharing, we can all find some new combinations to take our game up to the next level.

I have grouped the scorestreaks into 3 categories;
Low (0-749 points)
Mid (750-1300)
High (1301-1900)

When rating scorestreaks, please keep in mind a few details before rating things like;

Cost & effectiveness of the streak. Is it worth the points you need too use it? Does it kill alot of people, or provide good support?

Longevity. Does this scorestreak stick around, or do you find its often destroyed quickly?

Is it optimal for every map?

And much more!

So today we are rating the warthog, a 1400 point streak that provides Close Air Support killing enemies for 25XP per kill.
At the beginning of the higher end of the scorestreaks, what has your experience been with the warthog? Is it worth using? Do you think that its worth using over the lodestar or VTOL?

I have a positive KDR because of this score streak and one other, open maps the Warthog is a killing machine. I say 10/10,

I haven't messed with them enough to give it a rating, but one thing that is nice about the Warthog is that it is difficult to shoot down because it goes in and out of launcher range as it flies about the map. This keeps it in play for longer than some other scorestreaks (choppers and VTOL, especially).

I would give it a 6. Its nice and definitely is very cool, but at times, it gets me 2-4 kills which isnt worth it. I think the most i have ever gotten is like 10 in 1 warthog, which was nice, but it has only happened once.

Another thing I find my own warthog does is kill me alot...... I swear it loves to kill me just for giggles, you need to kill the other team, not me! haha.

I agree with you machine that its very hard to destroy, which gives it a notch up on the lode/VTOL and it sounds pretty cool too.

Overall its a solid scorestreak, and its so much fun to call in.

I've only used it three times, since I've been on a terrible run that started a few games after equipping it. Still, those three times have netted me about 20 kills, and when combined with the Stealth Chopper I was able to get it twice in one life. I gave it a nine, since I'm not good enough to get it consistently enough just yet.

LOL I got 3-5 mans in one map with the thing, carrier plus Warthog = profit...

Good topic Baykon!! I am looking forward to your review of UAV, RC-XD, and Hunter Killer Drone cuz dats the only streaks i can get......

got one the other day only netted one kill!! so not as good as i hoped!
