What is considered a longshot in this game?

It's different from weapon to weapon I believe. A longshot with a pistol is not the same distance as an AR longshot. I honestly don't know what the required range for a longshot medal. I do know that from the far side of the bridge on Turbine to the small building by C is far enough for an AR longshot.

it is a kill with a weapon where your final connected shot is at its minimum damage value, it is a different distance for many of the weapons, and is affected by the long barrel attachment


Does that mean I can put a silencer on my AR and not have to shoot from as far away to get a longshot?
