Both will be on PS3. Like the PS2, the PS3 will not become completely obsolete for several more years. I also imagine both will be available through PS4's streaming cloud service eventually too seeing as how Nomura wants people to be able to experience the entire series on one generation of consoles. However, since the PS4 is not backwards compatible, people will have to keep their PS3s to play the HD Remixes, until they become available on the Playstation Cloud (or whatever Sony ends up calling their streaming service). --- R.I.P. 2.5 will most likely stay on the PS3 slate, and could be on the cloud service as stated above.
My question is what about KHIII? Because that's not coming for a very long time (given the state of FFvsXIII). I mean, the main reason for the ReMixes is so fans and newcomers can have the whole series on one system, but if it releases too late into the fray, Sony may push for it to be on the PS4. I suppose a release on both the PS3 and PS4 could happen, but that doesn't seem worth the trouble to me. --- How many pills do you have to swallow before you feel full?
I wonder if they will release a bundle for PS4 with every single "HDified" Kingdom Hearts game in a single package. That would be glorious, especially if KH3 is on the PS4 (which is likely, despite comments to the contrary) --- Vayne Solidor of the DD012FF Board Currently playing: Persona 4: Golden, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
