Will Mistwalker finally get over whatever they have against Sony this gen?

Mistwalker needs to get over whatever they have against Sony and go ahead and work with them.

They failed with Microsoft
They failed with Nintendo
They failed with phone games

Obviously their target fanbase is on Sony's consoles.

As of right now they are one if the most talented JRPG developers in the industry and all they are doing is flopping around like morons when all they need to do is drop a title on the PS3/PS4/Vita and they'll do well.

Do Japanese companies really run themselves into the ground over a grudge?

Hopefully, their target audience is clearly on PS systems. They need to think of the fans playing their games, rather than the company that makes the box.

Right? It's not like they're hurting Sony. They're hurting themselves.

This.

And their target audience would be on the 3DS, not the PS4.

Tell that to:

Atlus
Square Enix
Namco Bandai
Idea Factory
Nippon Icchi
Falcom
Arc System Works
Aksys
Compile Hearts
Tri Ace
Intelligence Systems
GameFreak
Sony Japan Studio
Sega
Capcom
Level-5
Gust
Natsune
Vanillaware
Sting
Disaster Cake
Creative Intelligence Arts
Monolith Soft

I can name at least 130 JRPGs developed by the above developers from this gen and the next one that I either own and enjoy or have preordered.

But JRPGs are dead though? Lol, if you don't like JRPGs then just say so, you dont have to throw around insane accusations.

Yeah totally, Pokemon X/Y selling 4 million units in just two days clearly indicates that. There is an audience, but everyone seems to ignore it for some reason.

I wouldn't say dead but it's certainly not the powerhouse genre that it used to be. And that makes me sad. More on topic, I would love to see another Mistwalker RPG on the PS4.

Pokemon is an exception. Besides, the dude is probably referring to console JRPG's. How many JRPG's aside from Final Fantasy have sold more than 1 million this gen?
