I haven't played it but I would like to think it remote plays about the same as any other game you play when using the Vita's Remote Play (PS4) feature.

Have you 'remote played' other games before?

It works amazingly. It's like having a portable ps4. I only ever get lag if I'm using a wifi signal with bad ping. OCCASIONALLY, there can be issues when I'm 2 floors up from my ps4, but turning off "connect directly" usually fixes it.

This.
Also if you don't directly connect to your PS4's Wifi signal, then you may have to allow certain ports open on your firewall and/or router.

Tried it. Child of Light actually uses the Wii U control scheme with Remote Play, where Firefly is 1:1 controlled on the touchscreen. Its actually better than the standard control scheme.
