I thought that happened during ww1 not ww2.

^ The program I saw said it was WWII, but maybe they were wrong, or maybe it happened on both times.
I don't see why it couldn't happen during both, but I don't know for sure, because I wasn't there.

I'm doing some research now, and the WW 1 gets more historical attention, but I did find a site that mentions that a movie was made that was based on the true account that happened during WW 2 in 1944.
So I am going to say that it happened during both time-periods.
Either that, or some tv channel was loose with their facts and decided to throw in WW II.

In either event, it really did happen.
WW 1 seems to be historically accepted.
WW 2 seems to be conjecture.

The program I watched (some years back) mentioned WWII (2), and so that was why I mentioned that time-period. But again, I was not there. So its possible that it either happened in both periods, or the program I watched was factually in error..?
Heck, it could even be that I'm in error by remembering it wrong..?
But the event still happened though, so that is correct.

He was always a proud immigrant to be in America and celebrated the US and the freedom it offered, though he would be rolling around in his grave to see what a socialist/fascist nation the US is quickly becoming.

I know the German government will probably not be too fond of it, but the people likely don't care.

Did they play soccer, or the American version of football ?

I think it was the Germans and the English, so it would be their version of football.

German version has all the Nazi imagery removed.
They're pissed they aren't killing Nazis?

No, it's just a part of their history they wish they can erase.

I really hope most Germans hate Nazis just as much as the rest of us.

I'm sure they do. But if there was a game in which American slave traders were the main enemy and we had to kill them all, I'm sure some Americans would be upset.

And anybody that would actually complain about it would be labeled a racist and crucified like Donald Sterling. lol

They don't hate it, they just hate their recent history. They're like Australians, they just ban anything that reminds people of what their country did in the past (Australia was a prison colony filled with rapists and murderers, so violence is edited censored in Australia).

The only country in the world that embraces their torrid history is the United States, who placed the genocidal maniac Andrew Jackson on their $20 bill. A man who, just like Hitler, wanted to wipe out an entire culture, and believed it was his divine right to kill them all. Yes, Andrew Jackson had countless First Nations tribes killed off, and to reward him, the USA immortalized him on their currency.
