Just bought a 55-in LED LCD for PS4 gaming... Good buy or nah?

Hey folks. I spent weeks agonizing over which HDTV to buy... Plasma or LED LCD? Size? What Hz is right? Does it have gaming mode or not? Mounted or TV stand? Etc.

Just spent $599.99 at Best Buy on this (snagged a 5-year Geek Squad protection plan too for $119.99). Taking Best Buy/Geek Squad out of the picture, and just focusing on the TV, please tell me your thoughts on this TV.

Thanks!

Should be a solid buy. I have a 50 inch LED 60MHZ, 120 if you consider this motion blur system as an upgrade to 120mhz which I don't completely. Looks incredible with gaming, led is an excellent gaming choice.

did you bother to read the user reviews that talk about the atrocious input lag?

not bad but 2 hdmi ports seems a lil lacking.... and you completely wasted 120 dollars on that stupid protection plan...

XBO/PSN- RPGFan1985 - Sony damaged the industry by making gamers believe that 1080p is the only way to enjoy games. Story And Gameplay??. Sony won't allow it

I did. But I purchased in spite of them, because I don't play Call of Duty and the other shooters. I primarily play offline. Did I **** up? Be honest.

This was also on my mind too when I chose to overlook the trollishly-written, grammatically-deficient Amazon reviews. LOL

I got my 60" plasma for under 1k and it to has only 2 hdmi ports. It is a pain in the ace, but with a bit of research and a reasonably priced hdmi switch it is easily dealt with and still makes the original price attractive.

What makes you say that, just curious? The Best Buy associate was VERY against it, and harped on how "outdated" it is, especially the fact that Panasonic, the pioneer in plasma, stopped supporting it.
