Please post a clip of your game for all to see!

Mine was sonic the hedgehog.

+ Highly detailed characters and backgrounds.
+ Animation like I've never seen before.
+ The music blew me away.
+ So many colors!
+ Multiple scrolling backgrounds
+ Crazy raster special effects
+ Smoothness of gameplay

Sonic the hedgehog was in fact a REAL next gen game that wowed me something fierce.
RE4 sucks because it's not survival horror.

My FIRST game? Oh f***... I dunno if I can even remember that. It probably goes to Twilight Princess when I bought it day 1 launch day the Wii came out. The open sequence, the whole rest of the game? I was just in love.

FF8 and MGS2.

FF8 had the best looking FMV's at the time, and I remember hoping PS2 in-game graphics would be able to compare. I guess we didn't really get in-game graphics like that until PS3, but some PS2 games did come close (RE4 comes to mind)

MGS2 was the first game that made me go "wow" while playing it. I spent MONTHS going through the MGS2 demo, breaking glasses and shooting watermelons, I was so impressed at the time. Funny how so many games now have stuff like that but you don't notice anymore.

Sonic Adventure, Dreamcast

If loving the intro wasn't enough, the first act, Emerald Coast, wow'd me with it's colors, visuals, and sound.

Definitely much better than Sonic 3D Blast.
