No backwards compatibility but what about xbox live arcade games?

Have a ton.. One of which... Is pinball fx2.. Will xbox one allow us to play these still.. Just redownload to the new console for free if we bought them already?

The article from Wired seems to assume the lack of BC applies to Arcade games as well.....but we'll see how it plays out.

Thats ridiculous... I spent 100 plus on every table for pinball fx2... Def sticking to xbox as i have prepaid 4 yrs of live when there was a sale round holidays last yr... No used games will make this console very pricey... Hardly bought used before but still. Now we basically cant sell our xbox one games to gamestop? Thats nuts.. Way too pricey.. Might as well get a new gsming pc

Were you planning on selling your 360 or something?
