You know, whenever a poster uses the terms "b**** and whine" or "piss and moan" or something similar, I simply ignore the entire post.

Everyone who watched the event yesterday knows as much as everyone else. The rest are rumors and speculation.

5 GB is enough ram for a game on a console. People dont understand how console hardware works. you cant compare a pc with 8 gigs of ram to a console with the same amount of ram.

But 7 at GDDR5 is better than 5 at DDR3.... see where I'm aiming?

Because with a console you get to speak directly to the hardware instead of having to brute force your way through 3 layers to get to the hardware the way you have to on a pc. plus there is the giant overhead of windows on top of that. I mean they 360 only has 512 MB of ram so even at 5 GB its a 10x increase over the 360.

A good example is if you had any of the games from xbox 360 especially the better looking ones. Those same games would not be able to run on a PC with 512 MBs of ram at the same graphics settings. Heck I dont even think you can run windows 7 without at least 1gb of ram..
