Notch has very little to do with Minecraft since 2011. Last thing I heard about him was that he was getting sued by Bethesda for a naming conflict in a card based game he was making.

The Scrolls lawsuit was settled ages ago. It was the usual lawyering business.

Yeah I hadn't heard anything in a while.

Another consumer base gone. Let's count:
All the gamers without internet - check
Gamers who don't want to pay fees for used games - check
Gamers who love indie games - check

Seriously who's left??

non gamers who are rich enough to afford good internet and cable and hdtvs and live in a place with good internet but do not own a smartphone, which can do the same non gaming stuff that they revealed, and dumb enough to buy the Xbox One instead of a HTC One.

I'm 100% critical of XBO, but this is just typical indie whining.

The writing was on the wall with Bioware the minute you could completely void all of your decisions with one choice in KOTOR.

Keep in mind that a lot of developers, such as epic games wanted the used game market gone

But the thing is if more people are on the console that does support used games than the console that doesn't then devs are going to have to go to that console no matter what. At the end of the day if even one console supports used gaming to the fullest that console will get major support from consumers.
