That's part of the point. You're purchasing a product

No you're not, you're signing up for a service.

No you are not , signing up for XBL is signing up for a service , nowhere on these game cases does it claim you are signing up for a service.
You are buying a $60 product that is 100% worthless the second the shrink wrap is broken that is is what you are doing.

Kinda like buying a Wii U or a Vita, only cheaper..... jk of course ;)

From the back of the Borderlands 2 box.

"Software license terms available at www.take2games.com/eula"

There's also a large license agreement in the manual on page 05.

So yeah, Games are Services, not Products. :D

No, I'm buying a game, the same as Ive always done. If all Microsoft is offering from here on out is "services", then they can offer them to someone else. I'm not going along with this. And I could care less what PC games have been doing for years with regards to one time use keys. They let it happen to them, we don't have to let it happen to us. Wait until your Blu Rays start coming with one time use restrictions, are you gonna roll over and say "oh well, I guess I don't have a choice, Microsoft knows what is good for us anyways". They know what's good for THEM. Wait until cloud limits get too expensive, or the kinect has the right to scan your living room for contraband. Put your own head in a noose, don't be telling me what to do with mine.

The sad part is that no one gets this! No one understands what they've actually been purchasing the entire lives.

If you are buying a CD you are not buying a music service
If you are buying a DVD movie you are not buying Netflix

Games are no different and if they are it needs to be disclosed as such up front not hidden in some piddly eula fine print.

For this point to make sense you would have to be implying that the Xbox One is making used game sales illegal. Something they are obviously not doing...
