I understand the upset of no BC...

But why don't people just plug their old console in to play the things they have for the old console? It will work, I promise.
The only negative is the little bit of extra work if you have to switch cables and plug a few things in, maybe.
It shouldn't really be an outstanding problem like some are making it out to be.

Isn't the Xbox One supposed to be in all-in-one entertainment center? Don't see how that is when I can't play a single game I own on it.

No BC wouldn't hurt so much if 360s didn't have atrocious failure rates.

Because sometimes consoles break. And then you'll be sitting there with a paperweight and dozens of useless games.

Yeah, lack of backwards compatibility isn't really a sticking point for me.

I tend to keep my old consoles around.

Because having 1 console do two things is better than having 2 consoles doing that exact same amount of work...

ESPECIALLY if one of them is the 360, the most easily broken of the 3 consoles.

or if we didn't have massive library's after an 8 year generation.

NO BC means to me they don't really care about my business.

It's not just a rumor, I heard it on Gamefaqs.

I don't understand it, cuz I've never had a non-Nintendo console that was backwards compatible. I do understand the convenience of BC, but I don't feel entitled to it.

I guess we just view things differently.

It wouldn't be a big deal, if there wasn't the fact that all our DLC and downloaded games was tied to a server.

It's actually a pretty scary thought to think that in a few (probably more like 8) years all that stuff you paid for could be permanently gone.
