...that has a forced "always on" camera in my kids bedroom.

MS is trying to get the casual crowd with this thing, but I suspect most parents will outrage when they find out about this.

Agreed. And it's not 2006 anymore, alot more parents nowadays are more techsavy and know at least simple things with computers and all where they will find out about this fairly quick.

I didn't even consider the whole "invasion-of-privacy" thing from a parent's perspective. I'm guessing that Microsoft didn't either... Whoops!

Thought the same thing.

I had originally planned to buy it for my daughter sense she likes kinect.

Looks like she will just have to be happy with her 360.

Kinect 2.0 is the worst part of the whole thing.

If anyone with an XBOX DRONE records me by video or wire I will sue Microsoft, the homeowner, the homeowners insurance company, the store that sold the equipment and the person's who installed it.

If anyone records my children, I don't care if they're at their friends home, I will contact the Feds. and then I will sue Microsoft, the homeowner, the homeowners insurance company, the store that sold the equipment and the person's who installed
