Has the Microsoft said anything about this feature?

If it does, I hope it's not used to make some proprietary remote that's garbage and then stick us without a decent universal remote option unless we pay for some BT-to-IR setup. --- GT: Brax 13 12 4 X

I don't think so. Seeing as it was not announced I doubt they will add it. And if you look at the PS3 it had bluetooth and allowed you to use any other bluetooth headset to link up with. M$ makes you go through them to have anything work for there system. I swear they changed the controllers so I could not put my own rechargeable batteries in them and had to get "Xbox Batteries"
