It's to promote your product! Why are they canceling interviews with all the media outlets and also canceling the roundtable?

They should want to talk about such an amazing and innovative product, such as the Xbox One. Why wouldn't they want to stand behind their product and talk about it to anyone and everyone who wants to listen?

I think we all know the answers to these questions, but it is still a good thing to point out about Microsoft's behavior and their confidence in this garbage console.

Sure running would prove my guilt where I could try to talk my way out, unless it's incriminating.

Microsoft's executives recently proved themselves incapable of answering even slightly tough questions about the Xbox One without confusing consumers, interviewers, and even themselves. It's understandable Microsoft don't want to give them the opportunity to do the same thing again. Of course, it means that they have much less of a chance to do some (immensely necessary) damage control, and it means that they'll lose out on some coverage as a result, but apparently that's a price that they're willing to pay.

MS doesn't want to talk to the press because they will end up making themselves look bad with bad press which happened after the reveal. So they just aren't having any of that at E3 by canceling their Q&A sessions.
