Imagine different speech choices (like Fallout), with Kinect 2.0

You stay away from my precious Fallout. I don't feel like paying some fat kid to stand in every time I want to pass a strength check.

Muscle ain't fat homie. Do you even lift?

Muscle = Fat and I don't waste effort lifting anything heavier than a controller.

TC is pretty dumb but I really would like to see Kinect use in Fallout 4. First of all, we could actually manipulate objects rather than just pick things up by pressing in the analog stick.

Most importantly however is definitely going to be the pip boy/menus/inventories. I wanna be able to scroll the map with my hand and click way points, I want to be able to drag items around in an inventory, I want to be able to use voice commands to tell my AI partner what to do, simple things like "Attack my target!", "RUN U IDIOT!", "Wait here" or "Heal yourself".

Flipping through the Pipboy was also tediously slow so being able to call up exactly what you want rather than scroll through left and right pages and then scroll up and down would be great.

These RPGs have cluster **** UI's on the consoles. I hope Kinect can fix it and make it a much smoother experience.

The whole point of a role playing game is that you play a role. If the kinect determined everything based on your RL that kinda limits the roles you can take.

Omg, why didnt I think of that? Yes why bog down in menu's when you can just do the action straight up...

Are people actually taking the TC seriously? This is obviously a joke topic. Not because the idea is stupid but because Kinect wouldn't even be able to do those things in the first place.

I see the problem. People might get offended if they don't qualify for a certain speech option.

Or...going out on a limb here...it's just dumb.

Since the kinect can follow eye movements it can tell when you blink. You could control the menu with controlled blinks.

Just a simple question....as a french canadian....

Do you think that the Kinect will respond to french command...???
Or that the implantation will be better in the OS....??
For some game in my city....you must choose(on 360) between the french version or the English version...their not on the same game disc...at 60$ each...you better have faith in a good translation like in skyrim...they called it in-game "bordeciel"...its f**** s***....
