Do you think Rare should be given the ability to make AAA games?

Instead of kinect games? Or are their glory days over?

Well, you can't just wave a magic wand. The studio isn't as good as they used to be, and they were always wildly overrated. MS made a bad deal IMO.

You don't understand what "AAA" means.

Pretty much all the people that made their classic platformers left. Then the people that made Kameo and Viva Pinata left. The only people left are the Kinect based developers, which is why they're only making Kinect games now.

The best solution is just to give Rare's Ip's to 3rd party developers, like what is happening with Killer Instinct.

Their best work was 3 Gens ago on the N64.

If you can't do anything noteworthy in almost 20 years besides Viva Pinata, then no. The same stand true for Double Helix, who has a trash record for games.

Nothing is stopping Microsoft from allowing a third party to develop a new one.

Rare should dedicate a small team to remake Blast Corps and RC Pro Am as an XBL Arcade games. That would make Reflex a happy gamer.
