Our understanding is that final Xbox One development hardware - which is a *complete match for retail silicon* - started rolling out to developers early in July."

Xbox One dev kits are supposed to be 12GB, so is Leadbetter hinting?

My understanding the early dev kits had 12gb of RAM so they have something to work with while the final spec is worked out.

He is talking about the final dev kit for the Xbox One for launch which as 8gb.
