Is there a point in getting X1 if I will be building a gaming PC ?

Depends. My PC can play almost everything on high-max settings, but a lot of my friends are on Xbox Live, and I just prefer the Xbox Live interface.

Quite a few of the Xbox One exclusives will show up on PC, but there will be some that don't. Lots of indies, most likely.

I'd probably wait until the first price drop to get the One if you're planning on building a good PC.

Console is better unless you want to deal with the BS that comes with PC gaming with less good games and more bad games and a small boring community

My best internet buddies i met through pc gaming, cant say i met anyone notable on console.]

Less good games and more bad games? RLY? ok perhaps more bad games because it literally has 10000's of more games.

Plus multiplatform games are usually easily better on PC.

Elder scrolls, battlefield etc MUCH better on pc.

Saying this i always buy pc + sony console, this is mostly just for sony's exclusives. Most of my gaming is on pc.

PC has tons of under utilized power period. It sits at the top just because it has no budget. PC has $1,000.00 cpu's and $1,500.00 gpu's and 64Gb of ram at wasteless speeds past 1600Mhz. PC has power that devs don't care about and pc makers don't need or use but still sell.

the one thing pc will never beat console is in that with all thier power they still mostly suffer from screen tearing a lot, specially in the graphic intense games like Crysis. Crank up the eye candy and the stills look epic but as soon as you turn or move. Consoles give a smooth solid experience.

Billions of people have pc's but games have the most players on console. GTA4 for example sold 10 million copies on 360, 9.6 Million on PS3, and 700K on pc. If you want the biggest number of people to play with go console.

Plus PC will always get ported versions of console games because devs don't care about em. Maybe its due to pirating or maybe its because of steam. Maybe devs like console games that sale for $60 over pc games that don't really move unless theres a 75% off sale. Games sale more on console.

Oh and lets not forget how much money you would have to drop on a high end monitor for pc gaming if you dropped a big stack on building a high end rig. If you want elite gaming at 2560x1600 it will really cost.

In the end pc has parts that come out to replace other parts every 60 days and theres still not many games that use all the power that a pc can have so its how much do you want to spend on gaming.

Not really. The only one of the three consoles that can provide a different experience than pc is actually wii u.

Not really no. unless you like xbox exclusives like halo and forza. if the majority of your games are going to the pc as well, you would be better off with a gaming pc, if thats how you like to roll.

I don't always Troll on the internet. But when I do, I make it the Xbox-One forums...

Id say if you have to ask a question like that, you probably wont be able to figure out PC gaming. Its far from just turning it on and playing.
