Better deal? Xbox One or PS4+Vita for $500?

Xbox One is the better deal. With the Vita, you would have to spend almost $100 to get a decent sized memory card as well.

Right there is the reason that would really make me second guess the package. I am not a big handheld gamer either. The last handheld I owned was the DS lite. When the vita came out I thought about getting one but I remembered not really enjoying my PSP very much.

However it is still the better deal. If it came out I don't think I could pass up on it. I just would hope that a lot of games took advantage of the remote play function.

If anything, this would increase the install base of the Vita, which already has a more than a handful of great games and a ton of good ones.

Sony cant afford to do this. They would be taking a gigantic hit on each SKU sold. They are barely surviving right now as it is. And having the larger install base of Vita wouldnt really do anything to help the cause. American adults dont play handhelds. Thats why Vita is a failure. Its not aimed at kiddies like Nintendo is. So basically the Vita bundled with this would just be used for second screen features. Nobody would buy games or accessories for it.

Sony is doing fine. All you have is hyperbole and hope they do not release this. But, it is good to know that paid Sony insiders frequent the Xbox One board...

Not worth continuing this conversation. You sort of just outed yourself.

They are really struggling and have been for some time. Try using google.

I don't know if that was supposed to be a counter to their argument but having it's first annual profit in 5 years sounds like they've been doing really bad. Half a decade without an annual profit could imply that they've been struggling quite a bit. Taking such a large hit on the Vita might not be a viable option for them.

It would be great if they could do it but after seeing that article I think it might be just a rumor.

I already have a vita, but I'd still go with an xbox one. I'm not that interested in remote play. I spend the most time on my handhelds because I'm often not home, but remote play requires wifi and rarely am I in places with wifi or decent wifi. Also the selection of vita games still leaves much to be desired. I still have and play my psp (more so than my vita) and vita has too expensive of memory for me to waste on a lot of dl games. Sony has really just turned me off of them.

I realize you are just a kid so these things may be over your head. But Sony sold a bunch of assets. Which is a gain. It doesnt mean the business is actually doing any better. I mean, just actually read the article. Right now Sony is projected at a 47% chance of bankruptcy over the next two years. That is not a good sign for a company of that size.
