Is it bad that I want to buy a 360 (not xbone) JUST for TitanFall?

titanfall is literally the only game that i want that xbone has and ps4 doesn't. i don't want to buy an xbone for $500 just for titanfall, so im thinking around the time titanfall comes out (spring 2014) , I'd be able to find a 360 for cheap which I'd buy strictly for titanfall.

thoughts?

Favorite game of all time: Final Fantasy X, and no other game has come close.
Funny how you complain about posts and refuse to put them on your ignore list.

Titanfall probably won't be that good on the 360, but buying a next-gen console for one game is a bad idea. That's why I haven't bought a wii U (Pikmin 3). So make your decision when the game actually comes out and gets reviewed/has a lot of gameplay videos.

Best time to buy a 360. They're the cheapest and most reliable they've ever been. In addition next gen is really at least a year or more away. I mean even if you wanted to get xboned why buy it until there is at least a reasonable sized library?

Look at the first year of consoles this gen and the releases they had. None of those games has held up the test of time.

Sounds like a good plan, 360s are indeed much more reliable now. You might as well give some of its other exclusive games a try since they're also much cheaper now.

That's stupid. First, the 360 isn't going to be getting many games in the future. So basically, if a Xbox game comes along that you want to play, it's NOT going to be on the 360. Second, the 360 is much weaker than the One. What you are doing is basically paying $200 or so extra for an inferior version of a single game.

You called it xbone,
Not xb1 or x1 or even Xbox one

I don't know but I have the feeling you never even thought about getting a xb1

If you want it and you can afford it; no one else's opinion matters. Your entertainment decisions are your own.

TF for 360 is being done by another dev and will be about half the game the X1 version will be,no dedicated servers and maybe a drop in frame rate and will most likely look muddy like MW3 on the 360,imo if you are not getting a X1 then I would not waste my money on the 360 version, this is a new IP made for high end PC and next gen consoles and will be dummied down for the 360,not like CoD where it has last gen in mind and then ported over with better lighting,TF will be true next gen game.

Think of it like the Wii version of a PS3/360 game. It may be a different game completely lol.
