What MS should do.

Offer the full game of every new release for an hour and keep it up, PS+ gives an hour demo but it's not new releases. This would be awesome and help sale games.

So say you are thinking of getting DR3 but are not sold one hour of real game with no punches pulled help you decided then you can purchase it and continue from where you left off.

Just a thought won't happen but would be awesome.

There was a recent study that suggested that demo's actually reduce sales, and bad demo's can destroy a title.

Maybe people should stop making bad games, then.

What demos should be is the first 1.5 hours of a game's campaign.

Sometimes good games just get bad demos. I know it happens with RPGs.

Yeah, it happens all the time. And because gamers are reactionary and stubborn and almost never change their minds from their initial impression of something, a bad demo isn't worth the risk for most games.
