Elder Scrolls Online requires monthly subscription.

I was majorly looking forward to this game but there is no way I'm paying for the game, LIVE, broadband & THEN a monthly sub!

If they make the game a free download, then we can talk. Failing that, I'll wait the year or 2 it takes for them to realize monthly subs don't work on consoles & jump onboard when they do a 'free from subs' version.

Yeah just give it a year and they'll go F2P like almost every other MMO.

I completely agree with you. I was really looking forward to playing this but I can't see myself paying $15 a month to play one game. Once it does eventually go the non monthly route I will definitely be playing it.

Let's hope Fable turns out to be the game it could always have been and (sort of) stands up against ESO.

Never gonna happen, I know, but a man can dream!

F2P (Codeword for Pay to win), with ELIXIR OF AWESOME GEAR for 99.99$

and you have to pay more to enjoy the game than the small sub would have been

Let me point out why you shouldn't have wasted your time posting.

- Odds are, you're the kid compared to my age.
- Where did I mention a PC?
- I pay in , not $$$
- XBL sub fees are worth it for party chat alone, saves me using my phone the majority of the time.

Another point I could point out is that sub fees work on PC as you don't have to pay to use the internet on your PC, while on console you have to pay to get online so sub fees on a game aren't fair. Shouldn't they take the sub fee from MS/ Sony?

Now, please, if you don't have anything to say regarding this topic except for acting like a childish troll, jog on.

Your PC gets free internets? Because those are not free for most. That's the most expensive part for most.

I agree, and I've paid for MMO's quite a few times. Issue is we're already paying for live. If you have gold then it should either be free or highly discounted.

Of course knowing MS not only will it not be discounted or free, I bet gold will be required to play it (which if you think about it, doesn't even make sense if it holds it's own monthly fee and presumably servers).
