Capcom: "We're targeting 30 FPS for Dead Rising 3."

"We're targeting 30 frames a second, and because we're based in Vancouver, and Seattle is where Microsoft is based, we're only three hours up the road so we constantly have tech people driving back and forth and they're helping us to make this a very smooth running game at launch."

Ok. The game still looks fun to me.

30fps with that many zombies on screen at once?

Impressive.

doubt it's going to be locked at 30 FPS.

sounds like it's be in the sub-20's for the majority of the game. and they hope that in the best case scenario it'll stay at 30 enough for it to be playable.

shouldn't be surprising, though.

Dead Rising 2 was a buggy mess. not expecting much else from Dead Rising 3.

Umm what? I just played through DR2 and I had no problems. Maybe some achievements getting a little wonky due to co-op, but that's it.

How was it buggy?

you probably experience the post-patch DR2.

at launch, the game was atrociously terrible. I mean, load times upwards into 6-7 minutes. it's notoriously known for having some of the worst technical problems of the last gen.
