I kind of want more console brands in the future.

A lot of people think that consoles are eventually going to die off and people will just stick with PCs, but I don't think that's a likely fate for a long time.

In fact, I think more console brands would actually be pretty interesting (powerful consoles, not ones like the Ouya). We have the big 3 right now, but seeing EA or Activision/Blizzard jump into the mix could be interesting. There might not be enough room in the industry for too much competition, but then again, competition is a good thing for the gaming industry.

Which company would you like to make a console similar to the Playstation/Xbox/Wii formula?

Forgot all about Apple. They're probably the most likely to join into the console business. Though I get the feeling they'd just make something like the Ouya.

To many consoles is the reason the industry nearly crashed years ago. It is not a good idea

Yup. Can't be good for the industry.

If I had to choose though...Sega. Genesis 2. Or Dreamcast 2.

No company that makes billions of dollars on games is going to limit their revenue stream by limiting their games to one system, especially one of their own creation.

Look at it this way, between PC, 360, and PS3 Call of Duty sells roughly 9 million copies. Only 9 million copes to potentially 200 million+ users. That's not even 5%.
