Does EA have any games I'd even care about, I wonder?
I don't play many shooty games, I don't play sports games (except outside)... I know Command and Conquer, which is on PC...
I guess Titanfall, which wasn't to have a single player mode anyway?

I find it difficult to care about this news, as it doesn't really seem to affect me.
Unless, of course, I buy whatever the newest Red Alert is on disc and then cannot play offline at all.

Kinect basic features behind a paywall? What the hell are you talking about teremei?

do you have any clue what you're talking about?

scroll down. Skype and OneGuide (the TV stuff) require Xbox Live Gold.

I thought basic Kinect features was motion controls in games and voice recognition. Not online Skype and tv control.

not based on how they are hyping up the Kinect 2.0. Not once did any presenter state that these features require Xbox Live.

Sigh. No those aren't basic kinect features. Not in this world or your little made up one. Saying that is"the last straw" is just childish.

EA sees big dollar signs from online. I'm not sure they've ever looked at games. They've destroyed a few franchises, though I will still buy Dragon's Age: Inquisitor. Some people just need a sock (stuffed) in the mouth.

This doesn't mean they don't have single-player.

It's the same as games like Dragon Age or Mass Effect 2.

They aren't MMO's, they just had an online component like checking for updates or being able to link your account to social media.

Pretty sure just about all gaming companies will have something like this in the future.

If this was said by Naughty Dog, it wouldn't have the same negative reaction.

Before people react I'd like them to take note that Mass Effect 2 had Online features. Like game feedback and stats.

Nothing has changed at all.

I think you need a hug. Instead of that horrible attempt at berating me why didn't you instead tell me what the basic features of the kinect are? And what are you talking about last straw?
