except Ps3 didn't come with Kinect.. it was just overpriced by $ony

Dumbest statement you could make, the PS3 came with Blu-Ray which is what introduced many, many consumers to the format. Kinect is just a camera with the ability to motion sensor, nothing nearly as awesome as experiencing Blu-Ray back then

Blu ray ... yes
Cell processor ... no - which is where they spent the most money on a processor that was extremely complicated and pricey to develop for. It added NOTHING to the ps3 except making developers work harder and making the system more expensive.. it was unneeded and a waste by Sony.

$500 in 2013 is more than $600 in 2006 because of inflation.

Dear lord...
So inflation happened this year? The launch PS3 wasn't touched by inflation?
What cost $600 in 2006 would cost $680.67 in 2012.
What cost $500 in 2006 would cost $567.22 in 2012.

Thank you. TC posted the single most idiotic post I have seen in a long time and I can't believe we got to the end of 2 pages before someone exposed it. As much as Sony fanboys pounded on someone for their math re: $440 for an XB1, this is far more more egregious. To think a number of Sony fanboys got caught up in the idiocy ... too funny.

Really TC because I just did a TVM calculation and $500 today is roughly $430 in 2006. Troll harder next time.

Based on the intelligence level of TC's post, I doubt he/she will make it to 12th grade.
