Numbers Don't Lie: Software Preorder Numbers

I have a friend who is going all digital (has already started on the 360). I'm sure there are many people like him.

Pre-orders don't equal games sold. That goes for both systems.

And your statement holds true for both consoles. All games will be day one digital buy on both systems. Therefore, it's possible that a lot of people will be going digital on both systems. However, digital games can not be preordered and therefore only physical sales matter at this moment. So that doesn't negate the fact that the PS4 numbers are vastly greater than the Xbox One's. And to be honest, I doubt the digital sales are going to allow the X1 to beat the PS4 because people saying that aren't factoring in that people will be buying digital on the PS4 too.

Yes I did. And I should have mention my entire post wasn't only directed at his post but at all the other post that continue to use the "people are going all digital" excuse. That excuse only works when the systems are out.

That feeling when even Knack has more preorders than Titanfall.

Why wouldn't it, Titanfall isn't being released until well into next year, Knack is a launch title for the PS4.

VGChartz numbers lie all the time, actually. They literally make up numbers, and this has been known for years. Even pony havens like NeoGAF have banned them as a source. Weak effort, tc.

The part that blows my mind is the Titan fall pre orders, I thought that was Xbox ones big exclusive.
