Question for people getting the Xbox One

Just a really quick question that I find as a concern for Microsoft. So I hope that they are reading this.
When you get the Xbox one and the Kinect 2.0, you go home to setup (which you need internet for initial setup from what I heard from employees in the retail). You decide to go into settings to program your Kinect to turn off and disconnect it. Will you as the consumer take the Kinect back to try and get cash from a pawn shop or retail shop for example Gamestop for trading it in?

Just want to hear everyone's thought because a lot of people I know don't like the Kinect and since the people at Microsoft is allowing you to go into settings to disable the Kinect camera and turn it off. What do you think you will be doing with it?

You can't. Because kinect's come standard they cannot be traded in.

I've already paid for it some I'm going to keep it. Might be some interesting things to come with is. If not, I can always just use the voice commands and stuff. Sometimes I get REALLY lazy.

I'm going to try it out and see if I like it. If I do I will use it if I don't it's going into the closet until I bring it out for a party or something.

I will be connecting it to my Xbox where it belongs. I'm not even sure Gamestop would take the things since everyone who buys an Xbox One will have one.

I'll be using it, mostly due to the fact that me and my wife are having a little boy. So if I'm holding, changing, or feeding him etc. I'll be able to do things like watch netflix and such by voice commands instead of a controller.

Don't choose a console because of price, hardware or popularity. Choose a console because it has the games you want. For me that choice is X1.

I like the Kinect, so I am not even going to try to turn it off.

But if I did, there is no market for it (as there is a PC version of it coming out and the X1 version doesn't work on them (yet)) so getting anything for it will be very hard.
