Take out the cost of the packaging, shipping, and retailer cut and I'm sure it makes up that $10 difference. People would buy the digital version and by next gen it will be standardized.


This is the largest misconception that people have, that initial price differences are possible. The retailers have every reason in the world to have this not happen, and sonde the cast majority of games are going to be purchased physically, the retailers have enough power to ensure that this does not happen.
